摘要:Terahertz imaging has attracted great attention owing to its potential in biomedical, non-destructive testing, security, quality control and national defense. However, the achieved resolution of conventional imaging methods is located in the region of the centimeter to submillimeter, which is still hard to meet the demands of many applications. The diffraction limit indicates that the fine details of targets are carried by the evanescent waves, which are exponentially attenuated with the increase of the propagating distance. To circumvent the inherent limitation, the superlenses and superfocusing probes, have been proposed to realize imaging resolution beyond the scale of working wavelengths. The plasmonic materials and subwavelength artificial structures in these imaging devices burden the essential roles of capturing evanescent information. This presentation will introduce the method of beating diffraction limit at terahertz wavelengths with the challenge of weakly natural plasmonic effect and sophisticated fabrications. In addition, several ToB antennas related to high-precision positioning, passive IOT, integrated sensing and communication are also reported.
报告人简介:
Tie-Jun Huang received the B.E. degree in electronic information science and technology from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in June 2016. He received Ph.D. degree with the Department of Electronics, Peking University, Beijing, China, In June 2021. After the Ph.D. studies, He joined the Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. , where he currently works as a senior engineer for ToB antennas. He has coauthored 30 articles in international journals and 7 patents. His current research interests include: superreslution imaging, terahertz plasmonic, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces, high-isolation antennas, MIMO antennas.
