摘要:To accommodate the inexorable demands of high capacity in wireless communication, reconfigurable capabilities in system deployment is attracting increasing attention. In this presentation, a novel reconfigurable capability will be elaborately introduced: reconfigurable power divider, which synergizes the functions of “switch” and “power divider/combiner” and exploits the maximum resources in RF hardware. The output ports of reconfigurable power dividers are capable of being selected randomly as the transmission port or as the isolation port and retaining the essential characteristics of matching and isolation. The proposed reconfigurable power dividers have been successfully employed in various applications (e.g., switched multibeam circular array, antenna diversity, beam-forming networks as well as time-modulated antenna array), which substantially advances the performances of system as expected.
